Recycling lesson 101

Don’t use a dish soap squirt bottle to poor your old vegetable oil in for the trash. Someone will think that one of the kids threw out a perfectly good bottle of dish soap. You will then think that bottle of dish soap laying on the steps (near the trash can, mind you) is the same bottle of blue dish soap you used last week for animal bath time and it “just bleached out” in the sun.

Thankfully, I noticed something was awry when my “soap” didn’t bubble up when I put the water hose to it! Thank goodness old vegetable oil has a particularly obvious odor!! If vegetable oil got sudsy when mixed with water, someones truck would be really greasy instead of clean! #:-S whew!
