Happy Easter!

“It’s really happened!!  The Master has been raised up- Simon saw him!”  Then the two went over everything that happened on the road and how they recognized him when he broke the bread.  While they were saying all this, Jesus appeared to them and said, “Peace be withyou. Don’t be upset, and don’t let all these doubting questions take over.  Look at my hands and feet- it’s really me.  Touch me.  Look me over from head to toe.”  Luke 24: 33-42 (paraphrased from the Message Bible”

This Easter take a look at all the things in your life that you doubt or worry about and give them to Jesus!!  Jesus said to not let your doubting take over.  I believe this is true in all aspects of our lives not just in our belief that he rose from the dead!!  Since we can’t touch Jesus and look him over from head to toe literally, I pray that you will dig into his word and look him over from there.

Easter is a celebration of life!  On Good Friday we remember that Jesus died and on Easter we remember and celebrate his coming back to life.  All of this is not just a piece of our history- He did these things so that we could have eternal life with him!!  If you’ve already acknowledged your belief and faith in this concept- CELEBRATE!!!  If you haven’t, I encourage you to pray right now and acknowledge that belief and faith.  Dear Heavenly Father,  Thank you for sending Jesus to earth.  Thank you for letting your son die just for me.  I know that I am not perfect and I never will be.  I believe in this story.  I believ it to be true.  I have faith that I will go to heaven to be with You when I die.  Thank you Jesus!  In Jesus’ Name, Amen

If you have said this prayer today, please send me a comment so that I can pray for you.
